20 Days, 20 German Towns: Bad Homburg

Bad Homburg is the closest town that’s juuuuuuust the right size – not too small, not too big – which is to say, they have an H&M amidst the four solid blocks of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries, but you can park for less than $10. They have a great little Christmas market that we visited when friends came in 2019, and a nice summer festival that happened right as we arrived in Germany. Their town park is huge, with swan lakes, Chinese pagodas, a sculpture park, and a few different playgrounds. We spend a lot of time here, and hope that some of those fun things come back before we have to leave!
